Yesterday's report indicated that the first one million units of the iPhone X might not be released until December. The latter is used with the Face ID facial recognition system that unlocks the phone and verifies the user's identity for Apple Pay. The low yield rate is believed to be due to the complexity involved in producing the TrueDepth camera.
